We saw the challenges – and decided to take action

Alisa was founded in 2023 by Kajsa Undin and Line Borgö, driven by a shared mission: to make everyday life simpler and safer for everyone working in healthcare and social care.
Kajsa, a licensed physiotherapist and former Medical Officer for Rehabilitation (MAR), had witnessed firsthand the difficulties healthcare professionals face in meeting regulatory requirements – not due to unwillingness, but due to the lack of the right tools. Staff lacked effective systems for managing medical devices, resulting in confusion and valuable time wasted searching for documents and equipment.
Line, a computer science engineer, had spent years developing digital solutions for traceability and compliance in other industries. When Kajsa described the reality within healthcare, Line immediately saw how her experience could help – and the idea for Alisa was born.
